The Issue
Find indoor and outdoor space for American Institute of Architects (AIA) Dallas that is easily accessible by members and the public in an architecturally significant building.
The Solution
Solender/Hall had helped the group find its home two previous times, and they came back to the firm for its third home. AIA wanted a highly visible space in an architecturally prominent building fitting for architects and designers. Solender/Hall found space at Republic Center across from the new Pacific Plaza Park. Offices are on the second floor, and exhibition and meeting space are on the street level, connected by an interior staircase. Exclusive use of an outdoor patio area offers additional opportunities for programming and entertainment.
